Sometimes the biggest change isn't English.

It's confidence.
It's joy.
It's gratitude.

Every day, parents notice small moments
that quietly change everything.

What parents notice first

Real changes, described by families at Amaze.

Children become confident enough to try.

Even when English feels difficult, children begin to speak, answer questions, and use English naturally at school, at home, and in public.

They learn sounds and meaning – not memorisation.

Parents notice real understanding through phonics, listening, and meaning, instead of memorising words without context.

They look forward to learning.

Classes feel safe, engaging, and enjoyable – children leave smiling and want to return.

The learning journeyEnglish skills at Amaze

Phonics is an important starting point at Amaze, helping children understand how sounds blend into words. From there, learning expands naturally.

πŸ“–

Reading & Phonics

As phonics skills grow, children begin connecting words into sentences using sight words, punctuation, capitalization, and simple grammar patterns. Reading skills develop through guided practice and storytelling.

✏️

Writing & Expression

Writing develops alongside reading through picture prompts, structured activities, and independent thinking exercises. Children learn to describe, build sentences, and express ideas clearly.

πŸ’¬

Listening & Speaking

Listening and speaking skills are woven into every class through games, songs, conversations, and age-appropriate topics – such as family, daily routines, colors, shapes, and the world around them.

Because Amaze is an after-school program, our lessons are designed to feel relaxed and enjoyable. When children smile, laugh, and feel safe to try, they build confidence and perform at their best.

Feedback from families at Amaze

We were worried our child was falling behind, despite extra tutoring. The teachers explained that the issue wasn't effort – it was pacing. Once lessons matched how our child processed information, progress became steady and visible.

Parent Β· Age 8, Bilingual Program

After trying several programs, we were skeptical anything would help. The teachers actually observed how our child was learning, not just what they were learning. When something wasn't working, they adjusted immediately rather than pushing through. That responsiveness made all the difference.

A gentle, fun-filled introduction

Every child begins with an introductory session that feels like a real class – interactive and friendly

Rather than focusing on a single skill, the session helps us understand your child's overall learning level across phonics, reading, writing, listening, and speaking.

For children who need more time to settle in, additional trial sessions may be recommended to help them feel comfortable and confident before joining a regular class.
